About Al Ihsan Social Development Center : Helping Those in Need
"Welcome to Al Ihsan Social Development Center (AISDC), a non-profit organization that has been working tirelessly since January 2004 to support orphan, needy children and underprivileged Muslim women in Bangladesh. Our women's chapter, Al Ihsan Girls' School and Orphanage, has been making a difference in the lives of these women, providing them with primary education and hands-on job training."
Science Lab
We offer access to a science lab with equipment and facilities to students for experimentation and hands-on learning.
We offer computer education to empower these girls with the skills they need to be self-sufficient and support themselves and their families.
We offer skills training in various handicrafts and sewing to empower these girls with the skills they need to be self-sufficient and support themselves and their families.
Aims and Objectives:
- Making a real difference in the community by alleviating literacy, providing education for all ages, and supporting the poor and distressed through social development programs.
- Giving orphan students a chance for a brighter future by providing them with a safe and nurturing home.
- Providing scholarships, awards, and certificates to deserving students and helping poor students with food, clothing, and shelter.
- Raising awareness about important social issues such as AIDS, child marriage, usury, child and female abuse, and drug addiction.
- Creating a greener environment through tree plantation efforts.
- Improving the health and hygiene of village women by raising awareness about the importance of using sanitary latrines and personal hygiene, and distributing sanitary latrines and sanitary napkins among the poor and distressed.
- Providing free education materials to poor students and ensuring education for all, including older women and girls.
