The Peace Corner

Al-Ihsan Reading Room

Books are windows to worlds beyond circumstance. The Al-Ihsan Reading Room is a calm, welcoming sanctuary where children and young learners can read, explore, and imagine without interruption. Stocked with a growing library of Bengali and English titles, it nurtures curiosity and a lifelong love of independent thought.

A dedicated quiet space where every child has the right to read, reflect, and grow at their own pace.

Feeding Hope

Al-Ihsan Food Distribution Drive

No child should go to school hungry, and no family should face the day without a meal. Through regular food distribution drives, AISDC reaches vulnerable families across the community with essential nutrition — because dignity begins at the table.

Needle & Hope

Al-Ihsan Sewing Training

Economic independence begins with a skill. AISDC's sewing training programme equips women from disadvantaged backgrounds with a vocational trade — enabling them to generate income, support their families, and reclaim confidence in their own capabilities. A needle, some thread, and the right guidance can change a life.

“When a woman can provide for her family, dignity follows. That is what we are stitching together — one session at a time.”

Dressed with Dignity

Al-Ihsan's Gift to Students

When a child receives a school uniform, they gain more than clothing — they gain belonging. AISDC's annual dress distribution ensures every student walks into the classroom with their head held high, removing a quiet barrier that keeps too many children away from education.

Hands-On Learning

Al-Ihsan Science Lab

Discovery lives in the hands-on. AISDC's science lab invites students to question, experiment, and learn by doing — transforming abstract concepts into tangible understanding. More than equipment, it is a space where curiosity is given permission to flourish and scientific thinking is seeded for a generation of future problem-solvers.

A fully equipped science laboratory enabling experiment-based learning for primary and secondary students.

Every Helping Hand

Al-Ihsan's Diverse Contributions

Our work does not always fit neatly into categories — because human need does not either. From seasonal support to quiet individual acts of care, AISDC responds wherever help is needed, in whatever form it can be given. These are the smaller, unannounced moments that collectively add up to lasting, dignified change within a community.
